Edinburgh Bus Station 

Edinburgh Bus Station was opened in 2003 and is located in St Andrew's Square, in the east of the city centre. It is only 5 minutes’ walk away from Waverley train station and from the Airlink 100 bus, the Airport Express Shuttle.

Monday - Saturday: 04.45 - 00.45

Sunday/Public Holidays: 06.00 - 00.45 (except when customers are holding a valid ticket to travel before this time).

During the festive season the following opening hours apply:

24 December: 04.45 - 22.35

25 December: Closed

26 December: 06.30 - 23.15

27, 28, 29, 30 December: 04.45 - 00.45

31 December: 04.45 - 22.30

1 January: 06.30 - 23.30

2 January: 06.30 - 00.45

3 January: 04.45 - 00.45

Drop-off / Pick-up

Travellers can be dropped off and picked up close to the entrance in North St Andrew St.

For a longer stay you can use the multi storey NCP car park at the St James Centre (open 24/24, 7/7).

  • Prices range from £3 for a small locker used up to 3 hours to £24 for a large locker used up to 72 hours (use coins only)
