The Scottish Government abolished prescription charges on 1 April 201.. The abolition of Scottish charges applies only to prescriptions issued on Scottish prescription forms (GP10) and dispensed in Scottish pharmacies.

If you have aprescription issued on an English prescription form, you should consult your pharmacist or a Scottish GP for advice on costs for obtaining that prescription in Scotland.
